The Tree

When I finished the base of this sculpture, I kept seeing a tree in it. I hadn’t planned to create one. But, it simply seemed to reveal itself to me.

I followed that feeling and began adding the texture to the trunk, then shaped the branches, letting the form grow naturally. The final touch was the three-dimensional leaves, bringing the sculpture to life.

And when it was finally complete, I completely fell in love with it. What began as a simple base had transformed into a tree full of life. Sometimes, the most beautiful creations are the ones that quietly tell us what they want to become.
